Contemporary Marble and Black Metal Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary nesting coffee table set for 3ds Max features a large marble-topped drum table paired with a smaller black metal pedestal table. The set comprises two distinct circular tables that nest together to create a layered aesthetic. The larger table is a low, drum-style piece finished in a white marble with subtle grey veining. Its counterpart is a smaller, elevated table with a matte black circular top supported by a solid gold-toned cylindrical base. The contrast between the heavy, stone-like presence of the larger table and the slender, metallic profile of the smaller one provides a balanced visual dynamic, making this an ideal central feature for modern lounge settings or high-end residential interiors.

The download is a 15.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these tables are provided as separate, modular assets, allowing for flexible arrangement within your scene. Utilize the layer manager to toggle the decorative accessories, including the books and plant, independently from the table geometry. When integrating into a project, ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy snapping to floor planes. Apply standard material overrides to test scale and proportions, then refine the surface reflections for the marble and metal components to suit your lighting.

These nesting tables are perfectly suited for open-plan living rooms, luxury apartment projects, or hotel lobby lounge areas. They pair well with modular sectional sofas or low-profile armchairs, providing both surface area and sculptural interest. Professionals will find them useful when searching for versatile, space-saving furniture solutions that balance material variety. Whether working on a minimalist residential renovation or a boutique hospitality interior, this set offers a clean, sophisticated look that anchors a seating group effectively while maintaining a light footprint.
