About this asset

This Revit family provides a complete hockey field layout including integrated floodlights and goal posts for master planning. The model represents a standard hockey field layout, featuring a flat rectangular surface with clearly defined pitch markings including the centre circle and goal areas. Two goal structures are positioned at either end, rendered in a neutral grey. The perimeter is defined by a series of vertical floodlight masts, each topped with a luminaire element. The geometry is kept clean and lightweight, focusing on the essential layout and spatial footprint required for site planning and early-stage massing studies. The overall assembly is structured as a single block for ease of placement within larger project environments.

The download is a 1.2 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is intended for site plan integration or early-stage massing exercises. Once loaded, the component can be placed on a site or topography surface using standard placement tools. Users should ensure the level and offset parameters are correctly set to align with the site grade. Due to its size, it is best placed on a dedicated site layer to maintain model performance when switching between views or generating site documentation and renderings.

This asset is suitable for educational campus master planning, municipal recreational park design, or sports facility development projects. It serves as a placeholder to establish spatial requirements and site circulation during the concept design stage. Professionals working on urban design or school site layouts will find this useful for communicating the scale of sports infrastructure to stakeholders. It pairs effectively with other site components like landscaping, fencing, and pathways to create a comprehensive site plan for planning applications and feasibility reports.
