About this asset

This Badminton Court Revit family provides a standard court layout with a central net for architectural project documentation. This Revit family represents a standard badminton court, featuring a clearly defined floor surface marked with official court lines and a centrally positioned net assembly. The geometry is straightforward, focusing on the correct spatial footprint required for planning recreational areas. The floor is rendered in a consistent green finish, while the net assembly provides the necessary vertical element to define the play area. It is designed for clear visual representation in plan and 3D views, ensuring that the court proportions align with typical athletic standards for indoor sports facilities.

The download is a 287 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is best utilized by loading it into the project and placing it on a level surface within a floor plan or site plan. Users can manage the visibility of the floor markings and net components through the object's sub-categories or by controlling the family's visibility settings in view templates. It is lightweight, ensuring minimal impact on file performance while providing sufficient detail for site coordination and spatial analysis in institutional or recreational building designs.

This asset is intended for use in the design of schools, community centres, sports halls, and university campus projects. It is particularly useful during the schematic and design development stages to verify space requirements and circulation paths around athletic courts. Professionals can integrate this into larger floor plans to communicate layout intent effectively. It pairs well with other sports equipment and gymnasium furniture to create comprehensive interior layouts for recreational spaces, ensuring accurate spatial allocation for multi-purpose halls and indoor sports facilities.
