A classic turned cabinet pilaster Revit family designed with a carved spindle detail within a rectilinear millwork casing for custom cabinetry. A vertical casework accent element consisting of a rectangular structural block framing an inset turned baluster-style profile. The turned central spindle features symmetrical vase-and-ring turning details flanked by tapered necks at the top and bottom. Square solid blocks cap the head and base to facilitate seamless alignment against cabinet stiles, base moldings, or countertop aprons. The side faces and rear remain flat, allowing flush integration alongside base units, island corners, or upper cabinetry runs where traditional architectural trim is required.
The download is a 113 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load this casework component directly into your Revit project or nest it into larger custom cabinetry assemblies. Position the element against cabinet ends or island corners using standard alignment tools. Assign project-specific millwork materials to coordinate seamlessly with adjacent cabinet doors, face frames, or painted finishes across elevations, interior elevations, and joinery schedules.
Suited for residential kitchens, luxury pantries, master bathroom vanities, and boutique hospitality fit-outs requiring traditional architectural woodwork. This millwork accent integrates into kitchen islands, decorative range surrounds, and built-in library bookcases. Interior designers and BIM coordinators frequently specify this asset when resolving classical cabinetry details, farmhouse millwork elevations, or bespoke transitional joinery packages during design development and documentation phases.
