About this asset

This collection of five potted indoor tropical plants for SketchUp features varied foliage textures and distinct stone planters. This set includes five unique potted plant specimens, ranging from dense, shrub-like foliage to tall, multi-stemmed palms and delicate, airy trees. Each plant is housed in a distinct vessel, including textured concrete cylinders, dark faceted stone bases, and irregular, organic-shaped white planters. The foliage exhibits high-detail leaf structures, capturing the natural growth patterns and varied shades of green characteristic of tropical species. The composition provides a balanced mix of heights and densities, suitable for populating interior spaces with realistic, organic elements that offer visual contrast against clean architectural lines.

The download is a 123 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilize the layer or tag system to toggle visibility during the modelling process, ensuring viewport performance remains optimal. Materials are mapped to standard faces, allowing for easy adjustment of texture tiling or bump mapping within your preferred rendering plugin. Ensure the insertion points are set at the base of each planter to facilitate quick placement on floor surfaces or furniture tops across your project model.

These plants are ideal for adding life to contemporary residential living areas, hotel lobbies, and professional office environments. They function well as focal points in corners, flanking doorways, or grouped in clusters within bright, airy spaces. Professionals looking to soften hard-surface interiors or create biophilic design features will find these assets essential for staging renders. They pair effectively with modern furniture, raw concrete finishes, and minimalist decor, helping to bridge the gap between interior architecture and natural elements in various project stages.
