About this asset

This SketchUp model features a potted willow-leaf ficus with slender stems and dense foliage, housed in a textured grey stone planter. This decorative indoor plant features a multi-stemmed structure with fine, elongated leaves creating a light and airy canopy. The plant is set within a cylindrical stone planter that displays a subtle, speckled grey finish, providing a neutral base that complements various interior styles. The model maintains a balanced proportion, suitable for floor placement or elevated display in residential or commercial settings. Its form is organic and realistic, with careful attention given to the distribution of foliage density and the natural taper of the thin, woody stems emerging from the soil surface.

The download is a 32.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing it within a dedicated layer or tag for foliage to facilitate easy toggling during heavy modelling sessions. Users can scale the instance to fit specific spatial requirements, though it is recommended to maintain original proportions to preserve the plant's intended aesthetic. When rendering, ensure the material properties for the leaves are correctly mapped to handle transparency and light transmission, adding depth to the dense canopy and enhancing the overall realism of the scene.

Ideal for styling contemporary living rooms, minimalist home offices, or modern hotel lobbies, this potted plant adds a natural, organic touch to interior renders. It pairs effectively with clean-lined furniture, stone surfaces, and light-filled spaces. Professionals searching for botanical assets to populate architectural visualizations will find this model useful for adding life to corners, beside seating areas, or as a focal point on a sideboard. It is well-suited for project stages ranging from initial concept development to final high-quality presentation imagery.
