About this asset

This SketchUp model features a potted Strelitzia reginae, commonly known as a bird of paradise, housed in a geometric ceramic planter. The plant features multiple upright stalks with broad, lance-shaped leaves in varying shades of green, characteristic of the Strelitzia reginae. Three distinct orange and blue bird-of-paradise blooms are visible, rising above the foliage. The plant is set in a rounded ceramic planter decorated with a monochromatic, geometric pattern of white and grey-black triangles. The soil surface is covered with a moss-like texture, providing a realistic finish to the base of the plant. The proportions are balanced, making this an ideal asset for adding natural, organic elements to interior renderings.

The download is a 15.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, use the component's insertion point to place it on floor surfaces or furniture tops. Adjust the scale if necessary to match the surrounding scene dimensions. Ensure the textures are correctly mapped by checking the material editor, and consider adjusting the transparency settings on the leaves if the model appears too opaque under specific lighting conditions. The file is lightweight, allowing for efficient placement in larger interior scenes without significantly impacting viewport performance.
