About this asset

This SketchUp model features an ornamental shrub set within a sculptural stone planter, ideal for detailed interior styling. This decorative plant asset presents a slender, multi-branched shrub with dense, vibrant green foliage. The plant is housed in a distinct, low-profile planter characterized by a dark, heavily textured stone finish with prominent white veining, suggesting a hand-carved or organic aesthetic. The proportions are balanced, with the airy, spreading branches creating a soft contrast against the solid, heavy appearance of the base. The model captures the refined interplay between the delicate nature of the leaves and the robust, monolithic quality of the container, making it a versatile focal point for interior scenes.

The download is a 25 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is structured for efficient placement within larger interior models. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the project's specific spatial requirements. The texture maps for the foliage and stone base should be managed within the native materials editor to maintain visual quality during rendering. Due to the fine geometry of the leaves, it is recommended to place this asset on a dedicated layer to manage viewport performance during the design and development phases of a project.

This potted shrub is suitable for adding organic texture to residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or modern office reception spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or stone-clad interior elements, providing a natural accent without overwhelming the surrounding space. Professionals often search for this type of asset when looking to soften modern interiors or add detail to empty corners in architectural visualisations. It is particularly effective for staging contemporary dining rooms or quiet reading nooks where a singular, sculptural piece is required to complete the composition.
