About this asset

This set of two indoor potted plants for SketchUp features realistic foliage and neutral textured ceramic planters for interiors. This set includes two distinct indoor plants with varied leaf structures and heights. The first is a broad-leafed specimen with upright, deep green foliage, housed in a cylindrical, speckled light-grey ceramic pot. The second plant features variegated, slender leaves with hints of red, supported by a smooth, rounded dark-grey ceramic vessel. Both models include detailed soil textures at the base of the stems. The proportions are balanced for placement on consoles, side tables, or office desks, providing a natural accent that contrasts well with the clean, matte surfaces of the provided containers.

The download is a 7.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Import this SketchUp file directly into your model using the component browser. Ensure the geometry is placed on a dedicated layer for vegetation to maintain model performance. The textures are mapped to the geometry, but you may need to adjust the material scale if resizing the assets. These components are lightweight, making them ideal for populating interior scenes without significantly increasing file size, and they can be easily rotated or mirrored to create natural variations in your final rendered compositions.

These plants are essential for adding life to residential living rooms, modern office reception areas, and boutique retail spaces. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture, timber shelving, or contemporary side tables to soften hard architectural lines. Architects and interior designers frequently use assets like these to stage project visuals, adding a sense of scale and livability to renders. Search for these when looking to populate interior scenes, add greenery to commercial lobbies, or provide final styling touches to residential apartment visualisations.
