About this asset

This 3ds Max collection features five distinct potted indoor plants, including palms and ferns, housed in textured ceramic and terracotta vessels. This curated set of indoor greenery comprises five distinct botanical specimens, each paired with a complementary vessel. The collection includes two tall, multi-stemmed palms, a columnar cactus, a delicate fern, and a broad-leafed fan palm. The pots vary in finish, ranging from rustic, weathered terracotta to polished, deep-toned glazed ceramic. Two of the smaller plants are elevated on minimalist black wire-frame stands, adding height variation to the arrangement. The foliage exhibits natural textures and varied green tones, providing a realistic aesthetic for interior visualizations that require layered, organic decor elements.

The download is a 171 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these plants are typically managed as individual assets or a grouped collection. Users should maintain the original material mapping to ensure the specular highlights on the glazed pots and the translucency of the leaves remain intact. For large-scale interior scenes, these can be instanced to reduce memory overhead while populating lobby areas or residential living spaces. Ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base of the pots for easy placement on floor surfaces or furniture tops within the scene.

This plant set is suitable for high-end residential projects, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office reception areas where organic elements are needed to soften hard architectural lines. They function effectively as corner fillers, accent decor on sideboards, or as part of a larger interior styling composition. Professionals looking to add life to static renders will find these assets versatile for various stages of interior design, from conceptual mood boards to final photorealistic architectural visualizations, pairing well with modern furniture and neutral interior palettes.
