About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp vegetation set features a tall cactus in a concrete planter and a leafy shrub in a dark vessel. This set includes two distinct botanical elements suitable for interior styling. The primary piece is a tall, multi-stemmed cactus housed in a minimalist, square-profile concrete planter with a textured grey finish. Accompanying this is a smaller, slender leafy shrub presented in a dark, cylindrical pot. Both plants are modelled with realistic foliage density and height variations. The contrast between the rugged, industrial-style concrete container and the organic textures of the plants provides a balanced aesthetic, making them versatile assets for various architectural scenes requiring natural, indoor greenery.

The download is a 38 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these plants are organised as individual components, allowing for easy scaling or rotation to fit specific interior layouts. Users can manage the geometry by toggling layers to control visibility during the modelling process. To achieve high-quality visualisations, apply high-resolution texture maps to the foliage and concrete surfaces, and use a proxy workflow if rendering in external engines to maintain viewport performance while ensuring detailed output in final production renders.

These plants are ideal for populating residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or hotel atriums. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral material palettes, adding life to otherwise sparse corners or serving as focal points within reception areas. Professionals looking to enhance architectural visualisations will find these useful for staging interior scenes, adding depth to floor plans, or providing scale to renderings. Search for these by terms like indoor foliage, concrete planter, or architectural vegetation.
