About this asset

This modern SketchUp massage chair features a distinct two-tone leather finish with integrated ergonomic support and footrest. Designed for ergonomic comfort, this massage chair features a sleek, pod-like silhouette with a high-contrast aesthetic. The primary seating surfaces are finished in a clean white, while the outer shell is encased in a charcoal-grey housing. The unit includes integrated head and shoulder cushions, a contoured backrest, and an extendable footrest section. The base is a solid, flat plinth that provides stability for the reclining mechanism. All surfaces appear smooth with minimal visible hardware, emphasizing a contemporary, high-tech look suitable for modern wellness spaces or private residential relaxation areas.

The download is a 4.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this component is structured for easy placement into architectural interiors. Users should place the chair on a flat floor plane, ensuring that the footprint aligns correctly with the surrounding floor finish. Given its complex form, it is recommended to keep the model on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design process. The material textures are simple, allowing for easy adjustment of colour or sheen settings within the native material editor to suit specific rendering requirements.

This massage chair is a useful asset for residential master bedrooms, private home cinemas, or dedicated relaxation zones in luxury hotel suites. It pairs well with minimalist interior styles and can be used to add a touch of functional luxury to a project. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of furniture when detailing wellness-focused spaces, home spas, or high-end apartment living rooms where comfort and modern aesthetics are key requirements for the final interior visualisation.
