About this asset

This collection of three potted Dracaena houseplant assets for SketchUp features varied foliage textures and sleek ceramic planters. This set includes three distinct Dracaena specimens, each presented in a unique container. The first is a slender, reddish-tinged variety in a square white planter. The second features variegated green foliage in a white ceramic pot supported by a mid-century style wooden stand. The third plant has delicate, multi-stemmed growth housed in a rounded white pot resting on a cross-base wooden stand. The foliage detail is varied across the three, providing a range of heights and silhouettes suitable for adding natural depth to interior architectural renderings.

The download is a 17.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These assets are delivered as a SketchUp model. When importing into a scene, ensure each plant is placed on a dedicated layer to manage model complexity and visibility. The textures for the leaves and ceramic pots are mapped for standard material application. For optimal rendering results, adjust the transparency settings on the foliage textures and use an HDRI environment to capture realistic light interaction on the glossy ceramic surfaces of the planters.

These potted plants are ideal for filling dead corners in residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or hotel reception areas. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, acting as a soft visual counterpoint to hard architectural lines. Architects and interior designers often use these models during the concept and final visualisation stages to breathe life into digital environments. They are particularly useful when searching for decorative greenery that balances organic forms with clean, contemporary container designs.
