About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a navy velvet upholstered double bed with a tall, black fabric-covered wingback headboard. This double bed features a distinct wingback headboard upholstered in a deep black textile, providing a structured, architectural frame. The bed base is finished in a rich navy velvet, offering a soft, tactile contrast to the headboard. The set includes a comprehensive bedding arrangement with a textured white quilt, a dark navy throw, and a variety of decorative cushions in contrasting black and white patterns. The proportions are balanced, with a low-profile base that sits on a subtle, thin plinth, lending the piece a clean, grounded silhouette suitable for modern interior schemes.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed via a clean layer structure, allowing for easy separation of the bed frame, mattress, and individual bedding components. Users should ensure the textures are re-linked upon insertion to maintain the correct velvet and fabric material properties. The model is scaled to real-world units, making it straightforward to drop into a scene or merge into a larger master bedroom project. Adjusting the lighting setup with an HDRI or area lights will effectively highlight the velvet sheen and fabric textures.

Ideal for high-end residential master suites or luxury hotel bedroom concepts, this bed serves as a strong focal point in contemporary interior design. It pairs well with minimalist bedside tables and soft, ambient wall-mounted lighting. Professionals searching for a sophisticated, fully-dressed sleeping solution will find this asset versatile for both photorealistic visualisations and interior design presentations. It is well-suited for projects requiring a refined, layered aesthetic where textile variety and deep colour palettes are essential to the overall design narrative.
