About this asset

This SketchUp model features a slender deciduous tree housed in a cylindrical concrete planter with a decorative stone base. The model represents a young deciduous tree with a delicate, branching structure and sparse, naturalistic foliage. It is contained within a minimalist, cylindrical planter finished in a textured, weathered concrete aesthetic. The soil surface is concealed by a layer of small, white decorative pebbles, providing a clean contrast to the grey tones of the vessel. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for interior spaces that require a light, airy botanical element. The geometry of the leaves and branches is designed to catch light effectively in a rendered scene.

The download is a 17.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this asset is best managed as a component to keep the model lightweight. Users should place the tree on a dedicated layer or tag to easily toggle its visibility during the design process. If rendering with external plugins, ensure the foliage textures are mapped correctly to maintain transparency and depth. The scale can be adjusted to suit different interior environments, though it is best kept at its native size to preserve the realistic density of the leaf distribution.

This potted tree is ideal for filling empty corners in residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or hotel reception areas. It pairs well with minimalist furniture and neutral interior palettes, adding a organic touch to contemporary spaces. Architects and interior designers often deploy such assets in mid-stage visualisations to introduce life into minimalist architectural renders. Search for this item when looking for versatile, low-profile indoor greenery that provides a subtle, natural accent without overwhelming the surrounding design elements of a room.
