Potted Cactus and Indoor Tree Set

This SketchUp model features a set of two indoor plants, including a potted cactus and a slender tree, designed for interiors. This asset comprises two distinct indoor plant models housed in minimalist containers. The first is a columnar cactus with textured spines, seated in a tapered, natural-toned wooden or bamboo-effect pot. The second is a tall, spindly indoor tree with sparse, vibrant green foliage, presented in a cylindrical, vertically-fluted white ceramic pot. The proportions are balanced for contemporary architectural visualisation, providing natural texture and organic contrast to clean-lined interior spaces. Both plants are presented with realistic leaf geometry and stem structures, suitable for close-up shots or general background placement within a larger scene.

The download is a 125 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Integrate these plants into your SketchUp projects by importing the component directly into your model space. Use the native scale tools to adjust for specific room heights, and ensure the component axes are set at the base of the pots for easy placement on floor surfaces. For rendering, apply high-quality material textures to the foliage and pots, or utilise proxy objects if performance becomes an issue in complex scenes. Adjust the lighting to catch the translucency of the leaves for enhanced realism.
