About this asset

This Japanese-style SketchUp scene features a detailed bonsai tree in a ceramic pot, displayed on a wooden pedestal with a hanging lantern. The composition centers on a mature bonsai tree with a distinct, windswept form, housed in a textured, shallow grey ceramic pot. It sits atop a tall, square-profile wooden pedestal characterized by a prominent vertical grain and a central recessed panel featuring a repeating geometric Greek key motif. To the left, a traditional-style hanging lantern provides architectural context, while a simple terracotta-toned clay vessel rests on the floor to the right. The arrangement creates a balanced, meditative aesthetic suitable for high-end interior visualizations requiring a focal point of organic, sculptural detail.

The download is a 47.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this SketchUp scene directly into their projects as a pre-composed vignette. The model is organised to allow for easy repositioning of the individual elements—the tree, the pedestal, and the lantern—within the native environment. Material textures are applied to the geometry, and professionals should ensure their project lighting setup, such as HDRI or artificial point lights, is adjusted to complement the existing lantern placement for realistic shadows and highlights on the foliage and wood surfaces.

This asset is ideal for interior design projects requiring a sophisticated, zen-inspired touch, such as luxury residential entryways, hotel lobbies, or high-end retail showrooms. It functions effectively as a standalone feature in a minimalist corner or as part of a larger, curated space. Professionals searching for oriental decor, interior landscaping, or sculptural accents will find this set useful for adding life and character to rendering scenes, particularly in stages where final styling and detailing are required.
