About this asset

This SketchUp model of a pink orchid potted plant in a white ceramic bowl adds a touch of organic detail to interior scenes. This decorative botanical asset features two stems of pink orchids, each supported by slender green stalks and anchored in a cluster of broad, dark green leaves. The plant is housed in a minimalist, semi-spherical white ceramic bowl, which is filled with small decorative stones at the base. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for close-up interior shots or as a subtle background element. The textures on the petals and foliage are designed to provide a realistic appearance when rendered, reflecting natural variations in colour and organic structure typically found in phalaenopsis orchids.

The download is a 7.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp project, use the import function to bring the file into your current model. Once placed, you can scale the component to match the specific dimensions of your interior space. It is recommended to use the component's internal layers to manage visibility or to adjust the material properties if using a third-party rendering plugin. Ensure the plant is placed on a flat surface, such as a sideboard or coffee table, to maintain a natural orientation within your scene.

This orchid arrangement is ideal for residential interior design, specifically in living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas where a refined, organic touch is required. It also functions well in hospitality settings like hotel lobbies, luxury suites, or high-end restaurant tables. Professionals looking to add life to their renders will find this asset useful for staging home office desks or console tables. It pairs effectively with minimalist, contemporary, and luxury furniture styles, providing a soft contrast to harder materials like marble, glass, or polished timber.
