About this asset

This set of three contemporary indoor plants for SketchUp features varied foliage textures in distinct concrete and ceramic pots. This collection comprises three distinct indoor plants, each featuring a unique growth habit and container style. The first is a slender, multi-branched tree with fine, light green foliage housed in a textured grey concrete planter. The second plant displays a more compact, shrub-like form with dense green leaves in a minimalist matte black cylinder pot. The third piece consists of a tall, sparse branch arrangement with delicate leaves, presented in a weathered, rustic-style ceramic vessel with an aged, mottled white and brown glaze. These assets offer a variety of organic forms and heights.

The download is a 160 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating these assets into a SketchUp model, use the component browser to place the plants within your scene. Given the file size, ensure they are placed on a dedicated layer to maintain viewport performance. Adjust the scale to suit your interior proportions, and if using a render plugin, ensure the material textures are correctly mapped to reflect the varied finishes of the concrete and ceramic pots. Consider using proxy versions if your scene requires a high volume of vegetation to keep memory usage low.

These plants are ideal for adding organic warmth to residential living spaces, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office reception areas. They work well when placed on shelving units, sideboard surfaces, or console tables to break up rigid geometric lines. Professionals searching for botanical assets to enhance interior visualisations will find these suitable for adding lifelike detail to rendering scenes. They pair effectively with modern minimalist, scandinavian, or wabi-sabi aesthetics, providing a natural contrast to hard surfaces like stone or timber flooring in architectural projects.
