About this asset

This modern curved staircase for SketchUp features a solid white plaster balustrade and a sleek glass railing detail. Defined by a sweeping, continuous plaster balustrade that follows the curve of the structure, this staircase offers a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The treads are surfaced in a neutral grey wood finish, providing a subtle contrast to the bright white, monolithic form of the handrail and stringer. A transparent glass balustrade is integrated along the outer edge, maintaining an open feel while ensuring safety. The geometry is precise, with smooth transitions between the riser and the curved wall, making it a focal point for contemporary interior circulation spaces.

The download is a 5.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this staircase into a SketchUp model, import the component and align the base with your finished floor level. Use the native scaling tools if adjustments are needed to match specific floor-to-floor heights, ensuring the geometry remains manifold. The materials are applied as standard textures; you can easily swap these for high-resolution PBR maps to enhance realism in render engines. Placing the stair on a dedicated layer allows for efficient toggling during the design development process.

Ideal for high-end residential foyers, luxury apartment lobbies, or boutique retail environments, this staircase element serves as a primary vertical circulation feature. It pairs well with neutral palettes, marble flooring, and minimalist architectural detailing. Professionals searching for a refined, sculptural staircase for concept renders or detailed interior documentation will find this model highly effective. Its clean lines suit projects ranging from modern villas to sophisticated office reception areas where a sense of fluidity and architectural elegance is required.
