About this asset

This modern potted indoor plant set for SketchUp features four distinct botanical varieties housed in contemporary planters. This set consists of four distinct indoor plant arrangements, each paired with a unique decorative container. The collection includes a leafy broad-leaf plant in a two-tone marble-effect pot on a timber stand, a feathery fern in a dark textured vessel, a tall structural plant in a white marble cube, and a vertical cactus in a minimal grey concrete square pot. Each model focuses on clean lines and realistic foliage proportions, providing a balanced mix of textures from smooth stone surfaces to organic green leaves suitable for various interior design schemes.

The download is a 12 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these assets are organised as discrete components, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your model. The textures are mapped to standard faces, making it straightforward to override materials or adjust tiling if needed. Use the outliner to manage individual plant instances and ensure they are placed on a dedicated vegetation layer for efficient model management. These models are lightweight, ideal for populating interior scenes without significantly impacting viewport performance during the design development phase.

These plants are essential for adding life to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office reception areas. They work well when placed in corners, beside sofas, or as focal points on sideboards and consoles. Professionals often use such sets to enhance the visual appeal of renders for client presentations, residential staging, or high-end hospitality design. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes, bridging the gap between architectural hard surfaces and soft, organic interior elements.
