About this asset

This traditional black wood console table, modelled for 3ds Max, features an ornate spindle base and includes a decorative table clock. This console table presents a formal, traditional silhouette defined by a deep black finish and intricate detailing. The structure is supported by a series of vertical turned spindles that connect the base to a curved central drawer front, which is accented with a gold-toned metallic pull. The top surface features stepped ends, creating a distinctive profile. Included as part of the asset is a vintage-style table clock with a gold face and housing, resting atop a small stack of books. The overall aesthetic is one of refined, classical elegance suitable for formal interiors.

The download is a 32.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this console table into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on the floor plane using the pivot point at the base. The materials are mapped for standard render workflows; check the texture paths in the Asset Tracker upon loading the file. Adjust the lighting intensity to highlight the metallic sheen of the brass-toned clock and drawer hardware. If necessary, group the clock and books separately from the main table geometry to allow for easier placement or removal during scene composition.

This piece is ideal for formal entryways, hallways, or traditional living room layouts where a statement console table is required. It pairs effectively with classical mirrors, wall-mounted sconces, or framed artwork to create a balanced focal point. Designers often search for this type of furniture when styling luxury residential projects, hotel lobbies, or executive offices that require a touch of historical character. It serves well as a decorative anchor in projects aiming for a sophisticated, period-inspired, or eclectic interior design scheme.
