About this asset

This collection of four potted indoor plants for SketchUp includes diverse species featuring realistic foliage and varied containers. This set features four distinct indoor plant configurations, each housed in a unique pot. The collection includes a tall columnar cactus in a ribbed grey planter, a feathery palm in a simple white cylinder, a small tree with a textured bark trunk in a white basin, and a broad-leafed tropical plant with deep green foliage in a marble-effect pot. Each plant is modelled with attention to leaf structure and growth habit, providing a range of heights and textures suitable for filling corners, accenting shelving units, or populating interior render scenes with natural greenery.

The download is a 72.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When using these assets in SketchUp, import the components directly into your model space. Ensure you check the scale relative to your furniture to maintain realism. The plants are organised into separate groups, allowing for easy placement and rotation. Use the native material editor to adjust transparency settings on leaves if rendering with external plugins, and place these assets on a dedicated 'Vegetation' layer to keep your model file organised and manageable during the design development process.

These plants are ideal for populating residential interiors, hotel lobbies, and modern office break-out spaces. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture, adding necessary organic contrast to clean lines. Architects and interior designers will find these useful during the concept and visualisation stages to bring life to floor plans and 3D perspectives. Search for 'indoor greenery', 'potted houseplant', or 'interior decor set' when looking to add final styling touches to your architectural visualisations and project presentations.
