About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp bench features a natural timber frame and soft grey fabric cushions, offering a modular seating solution. This modular bench comprises two connected units, each featuring a curved timber frame with vertical slat detailing. The warm natural wood finish contrasts with the light grey upholstered seat cushions and matching backrest pillows. The form is low-profile, supported by sturdy block-style timber legs. The design emphasizes clean lines and soft, rounded edges, creating a comfortable yet structured aesthetic suitable for modern interior spaces. The cushions are plush and neatly integrated into the frame, providing a balanced look between the rigid wood structure and the soft textile elements throughout the piece.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should check the model orientation relative to the floor plane and verify that the material textures are correctly mapped, especially on the curved wooden components. The modular nature of the geometry allows for easy modification or duplication if a longer seating arrangement is required within the scene, while layers can be used to manage the visibility of the cushions independently.

This versatile bench is well-suited for a variety of interior applications, including residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or relaxed office breakout areas. It pairs effectively with contemporary low-profile coffee tables or as a standalone piece in a hallway or landing. Professionals looking for minimalist seating options or timber-accented furniture will find this model useful for adding texture and comfort to their design visualisations.
