About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a set of three potted cacti, each presented in a distinct stone or wooden container. This collection includes three distinct cacti, each housed in a unique vessel that complements a modern interior palette. The first plant sits in a textured, light-grey stone planter, while the second occupies a tall, square, aggregate-stone pot. The third cactus is elevated in a minimalist, cylindrical wooden planter with a matching timber stand. The plants exhibit varied growth patterns, from segmented, vertical forms to slender, branching structures, providing a balanced visual contrast. The scene is set against a backdrop of panelled walls and a large, neutral-toned artwork, creating a cohesive aesthetic.

The download is a 89.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a SketchUp model, this scene is structured for efficient integration into larger architectural projects. Users can easily explode the group to isolate individual plants or planters for custom placement throughout a model. Textures are pre-applied to the geometry, allowing for immediate rendering in common plugins. Professionals should ensure the component axes are correctly oriented before placement to maintain proper verticality when scaling, while the file's scale can be adjusted to suit specific interior proportions as required by the project.

These potted plants are ideal for adding organic texture to high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or boutique retail spaces. They pair effectively with contemporary furniture, such as the included accent side table and circular pendant light, helping to soften rigid architectural lines. Designers often incorporate these assets during the concept or presentation phases to enhance the realism of interior visualisations. Search for these elements when looking to populate minimalist schemes or to provide a natural focal point within a larger room composition.
