About this asset

This SketchUp model features a standing woman reading a magazine, providing realistic scale and human presence for 3D visualisations. The model depicts a woman in a standing pose, captured in the act of reading a magazine. She is dressed in a simple, fitted black top with a round neckline. Her hair is styled in a neat, pulled-back bun, revealing a natural, focused expression as she looks down at the publication. The geometry is clean, with balanced proportions that allow for clear visibility from multiple angles in a scene. The character is static, making it suitable for populated interior perspectives where a natural, everyday human interaction helps to ground the architectural space.

The download is a 26.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Import this model directly into your SketchUp workspace as a component. Given its nature as staffage, it is best placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the modelling process. Use the scale tool to ensure the figure aligns correctly with your architectural elements. If using external rendering engines, consider applying custom material overrides to the clothing to match your project’s specific colour palette or textures, ensuring the figure integrates seamlessly with your scene’s lighting and environmental settings.

This figure is ideal for adding life to interior design renderings, particularly in lifestyle-focused environments such as modern living rooms, quiet library corners, or contemporary office breakout areas. It pairs well with lounge furniture or reception desks to suggest a relaxed, occupied space. Professionals often use such entourage models during the design development or final presentation stages to communicate scale and human activity to clients, helping them visualise how the space functions in daily use through realistic, relatable human activity.
