About this asset

This modern hexagonal side table, modelled for SketchUp, features a geometric wireframe metal base and includes a potted orchid accessory. The piece comprises a hexagonal tabletop finished in a matte black surface, supported by a lightweight, open-work wireframe base constructed from thin black metal rods. The geometric structure creates a clean, industrial-inspired aesthetic that remains visually permeable. Included as part of the set is a small, potted orchid with delicate white blooms and green foliage, providing a natural contrast to the sharp, dark lines of the furniture. The proportions are compact, suitable for use as an occasional table or a dedicated display stand within a contemporary interior scheme.

The download is a 10.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is organised for easy placement within a scene. Users should check the model scale against project dimensions upon insertion, as the wireframe geometry may require adjustment to match specific floor plans. The materials are applied to the base and top surfaces, allowing for customisation of the metal finish or tabletop texture. The potted plant is grouped separately, enabling it to be removed or repositioned independently of the table structure to suit various interior staging requirements.

This side table is ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lounge areas, and boutique retail showrooms where a minimalist accent piece is required. It works well when paired with lounge chairs or as a bedside table in modern bedrooms. Professionals searching for geometric furniture, wireframe accent tables, or decorative staging assets will find this model useful for populating interior visualisations. It provides a quick way to add detail to a scene, particularly when aiming for a clean, contemporary look.
