About this asset

This comprehensive 2D people entourage set for SketchUp features various figures, including individuals, couples, and families. This collection provides a diverse array of 2D cutout figures designed for architectural rendering and presentation. The set includes various character types such as business professionals, teenagers, couples holding hands, and family groups with children and pets. Each figure is depicted in a clean, flat-shaded style with simplified features, making them ideal for adding scale and life to conceptual designs or final visualisations without distracting from the primary architecture. The poses range from standing and walking to casual interactions, ensuring versatility for populate site plans, streetscapes, and interior scenes.

The download is a 36.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 10 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These 2D assets are provided as SketchUp components. To use them, simply import the file into your active model and place the components on a flat surface or designated layer. Because they are flat 2D planes, they remain performant even in large, complex models. Ensure that the 'Always Face Camera' option is enabled in the component settings if you wish for the figures to track the view, maintaining their visibility regardless of the camera angle.

These cutout figures are essential for architects and designers working on residential, commercial, or urban planning projects. They are particularly useful for adding human scale to exterior renders, street-level perspectives, and interior design presentations. By incorporating these figures, professionals can effectively communicate the intended use and atmosphere of a space. They pair well with various architectural styles and are frequently used in the concept design and design development stages to help clients better visualise the scale and activity of a proposed environment.
