About this asset

This set of 2D cutout people for SketchUp adds realistic human scale to architectural visualisations and site plans. This collection comprises twelve distinct 2D figures representing a variety of casual pedestrians in everyday clothing. The set includes individual adults, adults walking with young children, and pairs of people, capturing a range of natural walking postures and interactions. Each figure is rendered as a high-quality cutout, providing a clean silhouette suitable for placement in exterior or interior scenes. The figures are captured from eye-level perspectives, ensuring they sit naturally within the horizon line of most architectural renderings, and are presented with consistent lighting conditions to aid in seamless integration.

The download is an 8.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 12 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To use these assets in SketchUp, import the files as individual components or images. Since these are 2D cutouts, ensure the face-me component setting is enabled if you require the figures to always orient towards the camera during navigation. Because they are flat, they are extremely efficient for large-scale site plans or background entourage, keeping file sizes low while maintaining visual interest. Adjust the scale of each component relative to your building model to ensure accurate human proportions.

These cutout figures are essential for populating residential developments, public plazas, retail streetscapes, and garden designs. They are best used during the final rendering stages to provide life and scale to a project. Professionals often search for these assets as entourage, staffage, or 2D people to quickly populate scenes without the overhead of complex 3D geometry. They pair effectively with urban planning projects, park designs, and architectural exterior visualisations where a sense of human activity is required.
