About this asset

This Scandinavian pendant light 3ds Max model features a wide charcoal metal dome shade accented by a bentwood hanging strap and luminous diffuser. Sculpted with soft industrial curvature, the fixture pairs a matte charcoal metal dome with an organic bentwood loop handle secured by round metallic pin fasteners. The shallow bell profile terminates in a broad downward aperture fitted with an inset frosted diffuser that delivers soft, glare-free ambient illumination. A slender suspension cord passes through the timber arch, balancing clean Nordic styling with functional joinery details. Subtle texture transitions between the smooth painted metal housing, natural wood grain band, and flush trim establish tactile contrast suited to close architectural viewing.

The download is a 20.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Import this native 3ds Max luminaire directly into interior assemblies via file merging or XRef referencing. The geometry is grouped for straightforward vertical positioning, enabling users to adjust cable drop lengths to match ceiling heights. Materials are separated across the shade, timber strap, and light-emitting bottom disc, allowing artists to link self-illuminated shaders or mesh lights to control lumens, warmth, and environmental bounce.

Ideally suited for residential dining rooms, kitchen islands, and breakfast nooks, this suspended ceiling fixture works exceptionally well arranged in linear multiples or as a standalone accent. Its understated Nordic profile complements cafe counters, boutique hospitality lounges, and creative open-plan office breakout areas. Interior visualizers searching for modern dome pendant lights, Scandinavian hanging lamps, industrial ceiling fixtures, or minimalist timber lighting assets will find it easily drops into contemporary styling palettes.
