About this asset

This contemporary set of two upholstered daybeds for SketchUp features vertical channel-stitched headboards and integrated side frames. This duo of daybeds provides a versatile seating and sleeping solution for children's bedrooms or guest rooms. Each unit features a high-back design with vertical channel stitching that wraps around the side, creating a cozy, enclosed feel. The beds are upholstered in neutral-toned textured fabric—one in a soft beige and the other in a charcoal grey. A small, minimalist bedside table is positioned between the beds, adding a functional touch to the coordinated furniture arrangement.

The download is a 124 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these daybeds are structured as modular components, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a room model. Users can apply materials by editing the nested groups or utilizing the native paint bucket tool to adjust fabric textures. The high-poly geometry is optimized for interior visualization, and the beds can be scaled proportionally to fit specific floor plans. Layers should be managed to separate the bedding from the bed frame for efficient scene management during rendering.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, these daybeds work well in kids' bedrooms, playrooms, or multi-functional guest spaces. They offer a refined aesthetic that pairs effectively with modern or transitional room schemes. When searching for this type of asset, professionals often look for daybeds, twin beds, or upholstered furniture sets to populate residential floor plans. These models are particularly useful during the concept development and final visualization stages, helping to define the scale and comfort of a room.
