Modern Black Metal Geometric Chandelier with Hemispherical Diffusers

Featuring an angular tubular steel frame and hemispherical diffusers, this modern chandelier 3ds Max model brings architectural suspension lighting into focus. The luminaire comprises a continuous, faceted black metal rod structure folded into an asymmetrical polygonal ring. Suspended from multiple slim wire cables with miniature cylindrical ceiling mounts, the fixture maintains a floating, balanced posture. Four hemispherical fixtures are distributed along the perimeter frame, each consisting of a matte black outer shell and a recessed, luminous white translucent diffuser. The cup-shaped light heads face in alternating orientations—angled sideways, tilted down, and directed upward—creating dynamic direct and indirect light patterns while introducing strong sculptural geometry.

The download is a 7.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for standard scene integration in 3ds Max, the fixture can be merged directly into interior scenes and aligned to the ceiling datum. The suspension wire elements can be adjusted vertically to match custom ceiling heights without distorting the main body. Materials are split across distinct IDs for the coated metal framing and the illuminated shade panels, allowing easy assignment of self-illuminated or translucent shader networks.

Suited to open-plan residential living rooms, modern dining spaces, and double-height reception lobbies, this statement luminaire anchors focal zones beneath flat or coffered ceilings. It complements minimalist dining tables, architectural credenzas, and contemporary lounge seating within residential and boutique hospitality schemes. Architectural visualisers sourcing contemporary pendant fixtures, sculptural multi-light chandeliers, or geometric ceiling lighting will find the model provides an effective decorative anchor during schematic development and photorealistic client presentations.
