About this asset

A minimalist metal double disc floor lamp 3ds Max model features twin adjustable circular diffusers mounted on a slender articulated chrome stem. The luminaire combines a heavy circular floor base with a slender vertical riser and an articulated upper arm. Twin thin circular discs serve as directional lamp heads, each detailed with a central circular diffuser and articulated ball-joint mountings. The disc shades and weighted base show a dark brushed metallic finish with subtle radial highlights, contrasting against the polished chrome vertical stem, joints, and swivel brackets. Designed with crisp geometric lines, the fixture presents a balanced, asymmetric profile that provides directed illumination without visual bulk.

The download is a 1.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Delivered as a native 3ds Max model, the geometry imports cleanly into interior architectural visualizations. Mesh elements for the base, stem, articulated arm, and disc reflectors are separated, facilitating hinge rotation and angle adjustments to match specific task lighting angles. Material IDs or dedicated shader slots allow rapid switching between polished chrome, brushed anthracite, and self-illuminated light emitter planes.

Well suited to contemporary residential and upscale commercial interiors, this standing luminaire serves as an elegant task or accent light beside reading armchairs, executive office desks, or lounge sectionals. Architects and visualizers often incorporate this style into modern living rooms, hotel suites, architectural libraries, and boardroom break-out corners. It coordinates effortlessly with low-profile seating, minimalist joinery, and monochromatic palettes across concept presentations and final marketing renders.
