Mid-Century Metal Conical Desk Lamp Set of 2

This mid-century metal table lamp set provides two directional task luminaires as a native SketchUp model with sculpted conical shades. Each luminaire features an asymmetrical angled conical shade mounted to an upright slender metal stem and an oval base plate with a distinct circular cut-out aperture. Two finish variations are presented: a polished brass or gold monochromatic version, and a dual-tone configuration combining a polished chrome reflector shade with a satin black stem and base. Subtle detailing includes an integrated push switch on the rear base deck and a trailing electrical cable extending from the foundation. The tilted shade geometry concentrates direct illumination downward for targeted reading or task light.

The download is a 358 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Designed for rapid integration in SketchUp, the components import cleanly as lightweight geometry suitable for large interior assemblies. Visualisers can place an omni light or spot light entity directly beneath each conical reflector to emulate authentic downward pooling illumination. Materials can be tweaked using native surface properties or third-party render plugins to adjust specular reflection, roughness, and metalness across the polished finishes.

Suitable for boutique hotel guestrooms, high-end residential master suites, and executive commercial office settings. The fixture works effectively when positioned on timber nightstands, bedside tables, reading credenzas, or minimalist executive writing desks. Designers searching for Scandinavian desk lighting, mid-century task lamps, or architectural bedside luminaires will find this paired set versatile across conceptual presentations, schematic layouts, and final photorealistic interior visualizations.
