Modelled after traditional chochin fixtures, this collection contains forty-five distinct cylindrical paper lanterns suspended from thin black wire hangers. Each lantern exhibits a rounded pill-shaped body, ribbed horizontal seams, and top and bottom rim collars in black trim. Surface graphics vary across the set, showcasing lucky maneki-neko cats in vivid pastel and bright palettes, festive costumed felines, and authentic hand-drawn Japanese restaurant calligraphy advertising izakaya dishes, ramen, yakitori, sake, and sushi.

The download is a 12.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 45 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Assigning two-sided translucent materials or emittance properties to the cylindrical paper shell creates an authentic warm interior glow when rendered with secondary lighting engines. Individual lanterns can be scattered along tension wires or clustered in varied drops to establish realistic depth.

Designed for hospitality and retail visualisations, these fixtures bring authentic ambience to Japanese restaurants, izakaya bars, ramen shops, and Asian food markets. They integrate seamlessly with timber lattice ceilings, bamboo screening, and dark wood counter seating. Interior designers and 3D visualisers searching for Asian pendant lighting, festive paper lanterns, or oriental izakaya decor can quickly populate high-density overhead installations to enhance cultural atmosphere during conceptual and presentation phases.
