About this asset

A contemporary table lamp and side table 3ds Max model set pairs a white drum shade luminaire with an X-frame black accent nightstand. The lamp showcases a tailored cylindrical drum shade in white fabric, supported by a central spindle body with spherical gold-finished hardware and a tapered white collar over a circular base. Below, the side table consists of a box-style drawer or tray top in matte black, accented by metallic corner reinforcement brackets. The base is configured with crossed X-legs linked by horizontal brass-toned spacer stretchers, providing a balanced, elevated contrast between the dark casework and bright metallic details.

The download is a 1.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Import the max file directly into your 3ds Max workspace to arrange the pieces as a combined group or separate individual decorative props. Position the assembly onto floor planes or bedside zones, then verify local pivots for easy rotation. Interior visualisers can attach an omni or photometric point light inside the fabric shade geometry and fine-tune double-sided translucency materials to achieve realistic illumination falloff during final rendering passes.

Tailored for luxury residential interiors, boutique hotel guestrooms, and commercial executive lounges, this setup functions seamlessly as a bedside reading light or living room sofa companion. The balanced combination of dark joinery and warm brass metalwork harmonises with upholstered headboards, low lounge seating, and minimalist console tables. Architects and visualisers frequently incorporate this bedside lamp and side table combination in high-end master suites, reception areas, and hospitality model units during concept design and marketing imagery phases.
