Contemporary Black Metal Drum Chandelier with Inner Candelabra

This contemporary black chandelier 3ds Max model features a delicate chain fringe drum shade enclosing an ornate inner candelabra fixture. Structured around a circular ceiling suspension canopy and central chain, the fixture combines classic and industrial design elements. The exterior consists of a vertical cylindrical curtain of fine black metal chains attached to a cross-braced wire frame. Suspended centrally inside is a multi-arm candelabra chandelier detailed with curving arms, upright bulb holders, and crystal or glass drop accents. The sheer verticality of the chain screen creates a layered visual effect, partially veiling the decorative core while allowing light to diffuse softly outward through the dark metallic fringe.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Engineered for interior visualisation in 3ds Max, the fixture can be merged directly into architectural scenes. Users can adjust chain length via standard sub-object vertex edits or array modifiers to suit custom ceiling heights. The multi-element hierarchy allows separate assignments of refractive crystal shaders, matte or semi-gloss black metal coatings, and photometric light sources placed within the central lamp sockets for realistic shadow casting through the surrounding fringe.

Suited to residential and boutique hospitality schemes, this pendant light makes a striking statement over a formal dining table, within a double-height entryway, or centered above a luxury hotel lounge. Its transitional blend of gothic romance and modern minimalism complements moody dining rooms, dark-themed master suites, and upscale cocktail bars. Search terms like caged chandelier, chain drum pendant, and contemporary black candelabra match the fixture's aesthetic profile.
