About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp kitchen island features a travertine stone finish and includes two modern bar stools for seating. This kitchen island set comprises a rectangular unit with a curved end, fully clad in a natural beige travertine stone with visible horizontal veining. The piece provides a solid, monolithic appearance suitable for high-end interior schemes. Accompanying the island are two minimalist bar stools, each featuring a slim, height-adjustable central column and a square base finished in matte black. One stool is fitted with a dark seat, while the other is finished in white, offering a contrasting aesthetic. The proportions are designed for casual breakfast dining or social kitchen environments.

The download is a 180 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and adjustment of the stools relative to the island. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly against their floor plan before applying custom textures or lighting. The stone material mapping can be adjusted using the native texture position tools to ensure the grain aligns naturally across the curved edge. Standard component nesting allows for quick swapping of stool finishes or repositioning for different kitchen layouts.

Ideal for luxury residential kitchens, open-plan living spaces, or modern showroom displays, this island serves as a functional focal point. It pairs well with minimalist cabinetry, neutral colour palettes, and contemporary pendant lighting. Professionals searching for stone-clad central units, breakfast bars, or designer-style kitchen seating will find this asset useful for mid-to-high-end project visualisations. It is particularly suited for kitchen design stages where a tactile, high-quality material finish is required to convey a sense of permanence and sophisticated, modern style.
