About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a cylindrical pouf stool upholstered in a tactile, cream-coloured boucle fabric. This simple, cylindrical pouf stool offers a clean, minimalist silhouette suitable for various interior schemes. The piece is fully upholstered in a high-texture cream boucle fabric, which provides a soft, organic aesthetic and a comfortable tactile quality. Its compact, drum-like form is devoid of visible legs or hardware, emphasizing a seamless, monolithic appearance. The proportions are balanced for use as a footrest or occasional extra seating, with subtle rounded edges at the top surface that soften the overall geometry while maintaining a sturdy, stable base for placement on various floor surfaces.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward integration into interior scenes. Users should ensure the object is placed on the floor plane, adjusting the scale if necessary to match specific project requirements. The boucle texture is mapped to provide realistic depth and surface variation; lighting should be set to accentuate the fabric's irregular weave. The model is typically managed as a single asset, allowing for easy duplication or layering within larger furniture arrangements or room sets.

This versatile pouf works effectively in modern living rooms, bedrooms, or walk-in wardrobes as a functional accent piece. It pairs well with low-profile sofas, lounge chairs, or as a soft contrast to hard-surface furniture in hospitality settings such as hotel suites or boutique lounge areas. Designers often search for this type of asset when looking to introduce soft textures into minimalist or contemporary spaces, seeking terms like 'upholstered ottoman', 'round fabric stool', or 'textured accent seating' to complete their interior styling.
