Travertine Sculptural Kitchen Island with Dark Wood Stools

This contemporary SketchUp model features a sculptural travertine kitchen island paired with two dark wood bar stools for refined interiors. Defined by its organic, flowing silhouette, this kitchen island is crafted from natural travertine with a distinct horizontal grain. The monolithic form features a soft, curved cantilevered edge that provides comfortable legroom for the included pair of minimalist bar stools. These stools are constructed from dark-stained timber, showcasing slender profiles and T-shaped backrests that contrast sharply against the light stone base. The overall composition prioritises clean lines and tactile material contrast, serving as a functional centrepiece that anchors the kitchen space while maintaining a sense of sculptural lightness and modern elegance.

The download is a 100 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into distinct components for the island and individual stools, allowing for easy placement and orientation. Users should ensure the island is placed on a level floor plane, utilising the native axis tools for precise alignment. Given the high-fidelity stone texture, applying appropriate UV mapping or adjusting texture scaling may be necessary to match your specific scene lighting. The geometry is clean, facilitating efficient integration into larger interior models without compromising performance or visual clarity.
