About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island features a terrazzo finish and integrated cooktop, ideal for modern residential interiors. This rectangular kitchen island presents a minimalist aesthetic defined by its speckled terrazzo cladding. The design incorporates a flush-mounted black electric cooktop on the work surface, providing a seamless transition between the prep area and the cooking zone. One end of the unit features an open-shelving compartment finished in a dark, contrasting metal, offering accessible storage for decorative items or culinary essentials. The clean, sharp edges and monochromatic palette of grey and black tones make this piece a versatile focal point for open-plan living spaces or contemporary kitchen configurations.

The download is a 4.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should check the layer hierarchy to ensure the cooktop and shelving are grouped appropriately for easy placement. Apply standard material assignments to the terrazzo surfaces to maintain realistic light interaction. Due to the high-contrast finish, consider adjusting the bump maps on the terrazzo texture to enhance the visual depth. The model scales predictably, allowing it to be resized to suit specific floor plan constraints within your project environment.
