About this asset

This contemporary off-white fabric curtain model for SketchUp features elegant vertical pleats and decorative tie-backs. This window treatment model consists of a pair of floor-length curtains finished in a clean off-white fabric. The design features uniform vertical pleating throughout the panel, creating a sense of depth and soft texture. Both sides are gathered neatly with integrated tie-backs, which hold the fabric in a graceful curve, revealing a static, pleated backing panel that suggests a full-width window installation. The geometry is clean, with well-defined folds that provide realistic shadows and highlights. It is a versatile, neutral element designed to add warmth and softness to interior spaces.

The download is a 2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing it directly into your scene as a component. Ensure the curtain is scaled to match your specific window frame height before positioning. You can easily adjust the material properties within the native material editor to modify the fabric's transparency, bump, or diffuse colour to suit your specific lighting environment. Keep the model on a dedicated layer or tag to toggle visibility during the active modelling phase of your project.
