Natural Wood Freestanding Bathtub Set

This SketchUp model features a pair of natural wood freestanding bathtubs, showcasing a wabi-sabi aesthetic with integrated metal hardware. This collection includes two distinct bathtub designs, both emphasizing natural timber finishes. The first is a traditional barrel-style soaking tub with horizontal wood staves and metallic handles, accompanied by a matching low step stool. The second piece is a rectangular, boxy enclosure featuring vertical wood slat cladding that houses a white, oval-shaped internal basin. Each unit is equipped with copper-toned metallic faucet hardware, adding a warm contrast to the organic wood textures. The inclusion of decorative water and folded towels enhances the realistic presentation of these spa-inspired bathroom fixtures.

The download is a 10.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these models into a SketchUp project, import the file and use the component browser to place each tub independently. Ensure the axes are correctly aligned with the bathroom floor plane. The wood textures are mapped to standard geometry, allowing for easy adjustment of UV mapping or material scaling to suit specific interior lighting conditions. Utilize the native SketchUp layers to toggle between the two bathtub styles or to manage the accessory elements like towels and water surfaces for optimized viewport performance.
