About this asset

This modern retractable ceiling fan model for SketchUp features a white housing, gold trim, and semi-transparent blades. This ceiling fan incorporates a dual-function design with integrated illumination and retractable fan blades. The central housing is finished in a clean matte white, complemented by a prominent gold band encircling the base. Four curved, semi-transparent blades extend from the central unit, designed to retract when the fan is not in operation. The geometry is clean and minimalist, focusing on a circular profile that sits flush against the ceiling mount. The assembly includes a standard downrod connection, making it suitable for standard ceiling heights in contemporary residential or commercial interior spaces.

The download is a 188 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, place this component using the ceiling as the primary snap point. The file is structured with logical grouping, allowing for easy rotation of the blades if required for animation or specific staging. Ensure the material textures are mapped correctly upon insertion; if using external render engines, the semi-transparent blade material may require adjustment of the opacity or refraction settings to achieve the desired visual depth and light transmission through the plastic components.

This fixture is ideal for living rooms, master bedrooms, and dining areas where a combination of air circulation and ambient lighting is required. It pairs effectively with contemporary or minimalist interior schemes, particularly in spaces featuring white or metallic accents. Professionals should search for this item when specifying functional ceiling hardware for residential renovations, hotel suites, or boutique retail environments. It provides a clean, unobtrusive alternative to traditional industrial ceiling fans, maintaining a streamlined aesthetic in modern architectural projects.
