Contemporary Mustard Velvet Upholstered Armchair with Black Frame

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a mustard velvet armchair with a low-profile silhouette and a dark timber frame base. Defined by its low, wide-set profile, this armchair features a mustard-coloured velvet upholstery with subtle tufted detailing on both the seat and backrest. The chair is supported by a dark-stained, curved wooden frame that follows the contour of the seat base. Distinctive, flared armrests provide a soft, organic aesthetic, balancing the structured form of the cushions. The design sits low to the ground, offering a relaxed lounge posture. Every element, from the soft texture of the velvet to the precise joinery of the timber legs, is captured to ensure a realistic representation.

In 3ds Max, this asset is structured with clear object naming and grouping for efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the material parameters to refine the velvet sheen or wood grain visibility. The model is scaled to real-world units, allowing for seamless integration into interior scenes without additional transformation. It is recommended to apply a standard subdivision modifier if closer camera angles are required, ensuring the fabric detail remains sharp and the curved wooden frame maintains smooth, clean edges in all lighting conditions.

This armchair is a versatile piece for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or relaxed executive office lounge areas. Its warm mustard tone pairs well with neutral palettes, walnut or oak wood finishes, and metallic accents. It serves as an effective accent piece when grouped with side tables or positioned as a pair in a reading corner, providing both comfort and a sophisticated visual focal point.
