Modern Walnut and Grey Linear Kitchen Scene

This modern linear kitchen scene for SketchUp features a walnut and grey palette with a central island and integrated bar seating. This kitchen layout combines high-contrast textures and a clean, linear aesthetic. The main run features floor-to-ceiling matte grey cabinetry paired with horizontal walnut upper cabinets. A marble-effect backsplash adds a refined focal point. The central island is the centrepiece, finished in rich walnut veneer with a vertical slatted front detail and warm under-counter lighting. It includes a sleek, dark worktop and is accompanied by four matching walnut bar stools with minimalist profiles. A large, cylindrical white pendant light hangs centrally, providing a strong vertical counterpoint to the horizontal lines of the cabinetry.

The download is a 39.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this scene into a SketchUp project, place the model as a component to maintain file organisation. Use the layer manager to separate the cabinetry, island, and appliances for easier visibility toggling during design development. The integrated lighting relies on emissive materials; ensure these are adjusted in the rendering engine settings to achieve the desired glow. For customisation, the modular nature of the cabinets allows for scaling or reconfiguring the layout to fit specific room dimensions without compromising the model's overall material mapping.
