About this asset

This modern SketchUp model features a grey terrazzo kitchen island with an integrated sink and cooktop, paired with a metal grill. The island unit is defined by its substantial rectangular form, finished in a speckled light grey terrazzo that covers the countertop and side panels. The front elevation features a textured, vertical-slat facade in a neutral grey tone, adding depth to the monolithic structure. Integrated into the surface are a minimalist sink with a slender faucet and a black four-zone induction cooktop. Accompanied by a separate, slim-profile metal grill station with a lower log-storage rack, this set provides a cohesive solution for contemporary outdoor culinary spaces or architectural visualisations.

The download is a 6.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical components, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a larger scene. Users should check the scale upon insertion, as the unit is designed for standard ergonomic heights. Materials are applied as simple textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted in the materials tray to match specific project colour palettes. The grill and log rack are separate entities, enabling flexible arrangement or the ability to toggle their visibility depending on the required composition.

This island unit is well-suited for modern residential terrace designs, outdoor kitchens, or luxury hospitality projects such as boutique hotel pool areas. It serves as a focal point in open-plan living environments where the transition between indoor and outdoor dining is seamless. Professionals will find it useful for architectural renderings focusing on leisure, alfresco cooking, or contemporary patio layouts. It pairs effectively with minimalist outdoor seating, concrete paving, and landscaped garden elements to create a refined, functional exterior cooking zone.
