Modern Dark Wood Kitchen Island with Bar Stools

This modern kitchen island 3ds Max model features a dark wood finish, stainless steel countertop, integrated appliances, and four distinct bar stools. This kitchen island set presents a contemporary aesthetic, defined by its dark, vertically-panelled timber base and a sleek, polished stainless steel worktop. The surface is fully equipped with an integrated four-burner gas cooktop and a central sink basin with a tall, slender faucet. Accompanying the island are four individual bar stools, each showcasing a different design, ranging from a dark leather-topped wooden stool to a grey upholstered bucket-style seat. The configuration provides a functional, high-contrast focal point, blending organic wood textures with industrial metal elements for a sophisticated, professional kitchen environment.

The download is a 110 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, import the file and ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned with the floor plane. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for the separation of the island base, countertop, and individual stools. Users should check the material assignments for the stainless steel and wood textures, adjusting the reflection maps to suit the specific lighting conditions of the scene, such as adding an HDRI environment map for realistic highlights on the metal surface.
