Minimalist Light Wood Kitchen Island with Bar Stools

This minimalist kitchen island set in SketchUp features a light wood finish, a stone-effect countertop, and two matching white bar stools. This kitchen island unit presents a clean, linear aesthetic defined by its light wood cabinetry and a pale, neutral countertop. The design includes an integrated flush-mounted induction cooktop on the surface, providing a seamless workspace. Paired with the main block are two minimalist white bar stools, designed with tapered legs and simple silhouettes that tuck neatly beneath the overhang. The proportions are balanced, suitable for open-plan living areas where the kitchen functions as a central social hub. All elements are grouped, allowing for easy placement and adjustment within a larger interior layout.

The download is a 31.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for efficient manipulation. Users should import the file as a component to maintain project hierarchy and ensure textures remain mapped correctly. The light wood and stone materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted in the materials tray to match specific project colour palettes. The stools are separate components, allowing for flexible arrangement or individual use elsewhere in the scene.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this island works well in modern apartments, family homes, and open-plan kitchen-dining spaces. It serves as a functional focal point for breakfast bars or informal dining areas. Designers often search for this asset when planning contemporary kitchen layouts, seeking a ready-to-use piece that pairs effectively with neutral schemes. It is particularly useful during the concept development and visualisation stages, providing a realistic sense of scale and materiality for high-end residential kitchen proposals.
