Contemporary Wood and Glass Kitchen Unit with Shelving

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen unit features a wood-clad base, glass-block backsplash, and integrated open shelving for display. The kitchen unit is defined by a linear, functional aesthetic, combining a warm wood-grain base cabinet with a contrasting textured panel on the right. A prominent backsplash is constructed from clear, textured glass blocks, providing both light diffusion and visual interest. Above the counter, the design incorporates a mix of wall-mounted open shelves and a recessed shelving niche with metal framing, ideal for displaying kitchenware. The unit includes a curated selection of jars, bowls, and plates, which are included in the model to provide a realistic, lived-in feel for interior design visualisations.

To integrate this unit into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and place it against a wall or as a partial partition. The geometry is organised by material, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain mapping or glass transparency settings. Ensure the pivot point is set at the base for accurate floor placement. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the reflective qualities of the glass blocks and the matte finish of the wood surfaces, maintaining consistent scale with the surrounding interior architecture.
